In 2008 Espuña was rewarded for its efforts in innovation with
two prizes for PRODUCT OF THE YEAR category for our 33 gram Minute
Tapas assortment and our Serrano ham in waves shape.
In 2009 two more products have been chosen for the PRODUCT OF
THE YEAR 2009 category in two different fields for quality and
innovation.
This is the only award in which 7,000 Spanish homes (9,000
consumers) choose the most innovative products of the year in a
direct voting system.
In 2009 these voters decided that the most innovative product in
the Prepared Dishes Category was our 160 gram Minute Tapas
Assortment while Espuña's Traditional Sliced Duroc Serrano Ham was
the best product in the Meat Products Category.The main advantages
which make these products innovative for consumers are:

two people and at any time, as a snack before meals with friends or
family.

The Product of the Year Award ranks Espuña as a company at the
highest levels of innovation, and encourages us to continue with

products in terms of quality and taste.
